Among many others assessed by independent organization AV-Comparatives in its latest Real World Protection and File Detection test among 22 products, only Trend Micro Titanium was able to catch 100 percent of malware, although it did throw up five false positives as well.
That particular test was based on over 600 live threats that included drive-by downloads, malicious URLs, and infected email attachments. The tested software was then rated against the out-of-the-box protection provided by Windows itself, which scored 80.4 percent.
